I have very thin and oily hair. I'm the type of person that needs to wash it ever single day otherwise it will flatten and start to look really greasy. Because of this I tend to have a very dry, itchy and flaky scalp as well. I've tried other shampoos, such as Head & Shoulders and Nature's Gate Tea Tree but none of them seemed to work. However, this shampoo is a real winner. Ever since I've began using it my head has not only itched as badly, but I've also seen an improvement in my hair's overall apperance.I originally ordered it off of another website and was impressed with the results. It is thin, yes, but you only need to use a very small amount. Basically, this shampoo will last 3x as long as conventional shampoos because you need to use so little in order to fully receive the benefits.It smells very strongly of tea tree oil. You may or may not like the scent depending on if you find tea tree oil to be an appealing fragrance. You will smell like tea tree oil for several hours after you've used it.When washing your hair I recommend that you massage it really well onto your scalp and let it sit for several minutes. This is because I've found it to actually work better when doing this. My scalp always itches less if I let it sit a few minutes. The bottle doesn't say to do this but it really works well for me.If you have an itchy scalp and tried other tea tree shampoos and they did not work well -try this one. It is excellent. And because you use so little it is very low cost. A bottle lasts around 1-2 months for me and that is with me washing my hair once per day. My husband uses it as well.
