Full disclosure: I started grooming my dog's hair since covid started and never brought her to the groomers again because she is now 16 and has many health issues. But she's still pretty active and curious at her age!I love this shampoo because not only does it keep my dog's hair looking young, but the smell of the shampoo is just right for me. It isn't overwhelming. In fact, to smell the shampoo I have to stick my nose in her hair which I like. The smell of the shampoo may not be strong, but it stays on my dog even after her short daily walks. I love the natural scent of my dog, but once she cools down, I can smell the shampoo again.Would highly recommend.Several days after coming from the groomer, my poor old girl would start itching obsessively. After the second time it happened, I came to two conclusions. Either the dog wasn’t rinsed thoroughly, or she was sensitive to something in the shampoo the groomer was using. I read reviews of all sorts of shampoos, and settled on this one. The groomer used it at our next visit, and lo and behold, no residual itching. It’s creamy, with a faint, clean scent, and it’s gentle on my girl’s skin. Thank heavens!I’ve been buying this shampoo for my dog for over 10 years. When he was a puppy, he had bad dandruff. I found this shampoo and it’s done wonders for him. He doesn’t itch, no dandruff and his fur is soft.My 11 pound shorkie - Scout - she is a Girl Scout- has never had skin problems, gets bathed weekly, and this shampoo/conditioner is one of the weekly products we use on her.I have used several dog shampoos in the past, several Vet recommended but this one is a game changer. Our dog really doesn’t get super dirty but she does get stinky as Boston Terriers do, and her skin is sensitive. She hasn’t had any issues with this at all and her coat is SO SHINY. Everyone has commented on it. I have recommended this to many friends.Great shampoo & matching conditioner for sensitive dog’s skin. Keeps our Yorkie’s hair soft & shiny…even our vet commented on her since she’s had problems in the past but not since using Earthbath oatmeal & aloe. Worth the extra money & lasts along time. I take shampoo & conditioner to the groomer with her & take it back when pick her up. Works great on our small Shitzu too.The soap was mild and my cat was Fluffy afterwards however she was still a little itchyAs its name suggests, this is an all-natural pet shampoo. The main perk is that you don’t have to worry about toxic chemicals affecting your dog’s skin. This product is 100 percent biodegradable and is cruelty free. This all-natural dog shampoo is also soap-free and smells great. It is a safe, effective and gentle shampoo for dogs that works well and is definitely affordable. In my opinion, you don’t have to worry about causing harm to your dog’s skit and coat with Earthbath All-Natural Oatmeal & Aloe Dog Shampoo. This is possibly the safest dog shampoo that you can use to wash your dog’s skin and fur. When I first started researching this product, I read that it is soap-free.Soap-free? Why would a shampoo be soap-free? Isn’t the whole point of shampoos for dogs to contain soap for cleaning hair and skin? Not really, and here’s why.Believe it or not, your dog’s skin is more sensitive than a baby’s, and Earthbath pet shampoo is pH balanced to be milder on Fido’s skin than soap. Soap can dry out canine skin and leave residue in your dog’s fur. This is a major cause of dandruff and itching in dogs. Soap is also more likely to wash off any type of topical treatments that you may use on your dog including treatments for fleas and ticks.Earthbath dog products are phthalate free and paraben free. Phthalates are molecules that are found in many fragrances, and they are linked to birth defects. Parabens are a group of chemicals that are used as preservatives in many products, including human and pet shampoos. In 1998, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a report that stated parabens such as butyl, methyl, ethyl and propyl varieties cause “estrogenic activity.” That means that they may imitate hormones found in the body and have a negative effect on the endocrine system, and should be avoided in dog shampoos as well.I also like that this product is good for the environment. I’m not someone who bikes to work to reduce their carbon footprint or does everything electronically to save paper. I do what I can, when I can to help the environment, but that usually entails buying eco-friendly products and cleaning up after my dogs when they do their business. Our Labrador puppy is an itchy girl. Since she was very young, she’s had itchy skin. Our vet says it’s dry and that is what causes her to scratch all the time. First of all, scratching constantly can damage a dog’s skin, and second of all, it’s extremely annoying. Our vet has given us s few recommendations for supplements to help with Saddie’s dry skin, but proper grooming is the key to helping her. After using this product two times, I could already notice a change in Saddie’s skin, and we noticed an improvement in her coat after the first bath. Her skin is healthier, and her coat has a gorgeous shine. The aloe and oatmeal in this shampoo do help soothe Saddie’s itchy skin as well. We’ve definitely noticed a drastic decrease in her scratching. It’s not completely gone, but it’s been cut down by about 70%.Saddie’s dry skin was affecting her coat as well. It felt wiry and dry, but after just one bath with Earthbath All-Natural Aloe & Oatmeal Dog Shampoo I could feel a difference. It was definitely smoother, and now that we’ve been using the shampoo for a couple of months her coat is a lot softer. I also really like the scent. It has a very mild almond scent that leaves your dog smelling clean and fresh without the overpowering fragrance that some shampoos leave behind.I was excited about this but did not see many reviews for cats so was a bit wary. My cat has allergies, bit of dandruff and forever itching. I have tried everything from high quality diet to daily brushing and so on I always check for fleas but has none. So I bought this hoping this would alleviate her endless itching. I bathed her this morning and the shampoo is lovely no question and very thick, lathered very well. However despite getting clawed to death and ensuring I rinsed and rinsed my cat with warm water after, sadly its made her itching worse. As soon as she dried off clumps of fur where left around the house and she is itching twice as much. I can't figure out why it would irritate her as its all natural? She is so good but its not had a good result for her fur and I will not use again. My cat, Enid, is a Ragamuffin and also an indoor cat who loves forays into the garden. She has a tendency to roll about in soil so can often get a bit on the grubby side. She is also prone to tangles as her fur is so long. Enid also has sensitive skin so we were looking for a natural product that takes into account the sensitive skin of our furry friends. This is where Earthbath saves the day! Not only does this shampoo make Enid's fur more manageable but she is extremely soft and smells divine. It also has never caused a reaction on Enids very sensitive skin. I have recommended this product to the people in the cat groups I use and we all give it a huge thumbs up!Here is a picture of Enid, post Earthbath! We bought this as my dog was itching a lot and I thought it may have been an allergy or dry skin. Within the first week of washing him everyday the itch went. The shampoo doesn't have much of a smell which is a good thing as it means nothing artificial and possibly allergenic is used in making it. I would say it is quite difficult to wash out thoroughly, especially with a 20kg Lab pub slipping around the bath tub! My own gripe is I wish I had checked the country of origin as it is made in the US and I would have preferred to buy British. But that is my fault really and not a bad point.Item ordered with Amazon prime same day delivery. Came in the time frame ordered. Item had leaked upon opening, however cannot fault Amazon customer services, who dealt with the problem within the hour of emailing them.My puppy 15 weeks old was very red and scratching, flea treatment via the vet so knew this wasn't the problem. After reading many reviews finally decided to buy this product. Can I just say wow! Very easy to lather up and wash off and has a ok smell to it. Nothing too strong at all. So my puppy was red itchy and smelt of wet dog. After just one application can already see the difference in the redness. It's gone down dramatically. She has also stopped scratching as much just now and again. Also she smells so much better. Still a little bit of wet dog smell but no where near what she was. Put it this way you can walk in the room and not be hit with dog smell now. Her coat feels lovely and soft and not wiry now. And also very clean.Would definently recommend this product to others even just after using it the once. This gives brilliant results! Leaves a super soft coat. We have a 13 month (water loving) chocolate Labrador that is constantly in rivers, ponds, streams and the sea. This brings her coat back to a fantastic soft, shiny condition. We use the Earthbath oatmeal conditioner as well just to give the coat that bit extra.
