First I wanted to post the full ingredients list which appears to be cut short in the description:INGREDIENTS: Aqua [Water with Organic Extracts of Organic Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf, Organic (Arnica) Montana Flower, Organic Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit, Organic (Calendula) Officinalis Flower, Organic Vaccinum Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit], Schinziophyton Rautanenil (Mongongo) Kernel Oil, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Protein, Panthenol, Extracts of Fortunella Margarita (Nagami Kumquat) Fruit, Actinidia Chinensis (Kiwifruit/Mangüeyo) Fruit, Melia Azadirachta (Neem Fruit), Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycol Distearate, Polyquaternium-7, Parfum with Extracts of Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Fruit, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit, Di-Steareth100 IPDI, Dipteryx Odorata Seed, Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) Fruit, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut), RubusIdaeus (Raspberry) Fruit, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Caprylohydroxamic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Citric Acid, Laureth-4, Sodium Hydroxide, Vegetable Glycerine. Now with that I want to state that the smell is really lovely and light. I feel the hint of the tropics in the smell and don't feel it is over powering. I also felt I could get a pretty decent lather for a sulfate free shampoo. Granted the lather is nothing near that of a shampoo with sulfates. I was really happy to find a gluten free, sulfate free shampoo without tea tree because tea tree irritates and dries out my skin. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price. I understand products with higher quality will cost more, still would love to see it a couple bucks cheaper, it is the penny pincher in me.I am happy with this shampoo and will continue to use it, posting any updates should my opinion change.Love this shampooOriginal Sprout's Island Bliss Shampoo was a delight to use! The scent is AMAZING and it really gave my hair volume without stripping the color. I am glad to find a Vegan, Sulfate Free Shampoo that doesn't weigh down my hair!I do feel like my hair is softer and healthier. Also, you don't need very much, so it really doesn't seem to be more expensive than my drug store brand of shampoo. Note that it does not suds up much - if you can get used to that, you'll love it.The smell was a catch 22 for me. It is a nice beachie smell, but it's overwhelmingly strong. The smell lasts all day (which is good), but it's so strong I got sick of smelling it.This shampoo is so THICK that it was tearing my hair trying to massage it in. It's not suppose to lather, sulfate free shampoo doesn't lather, but I've used other sulfate free shampoos I was easily able to massage into my hair without tearing it out. This is the reason I gave it two stars, because I don't want my hair ripped out while trying to make it healthier.Nice & Gentle ! SmeLLs Great & FeeLs Great. Does NOT STiNG Eyes. One of the BEST shampoos I've ever used on my Kids. Wd highly recommend.Like the conditioner, this shampoo smells heavenly! It's effective at cleansing but gentle enough to use daily (or sometimes twice daily in the summer when I've been working out or gardening) without stripping my hair. I'm hooked! As good as it gets for natural shampoos. With plenty of water it lathers beautifully, smells yummy and doesn't leave your hair limp. My favorite planet, animal and human friendly hair products!!It's been gentle and leaves my hair nice, silky, smooth because of no nasties products on it. I really like it and my hair seems to like it more. It's very thick so you don't need a lot and lasts for ages. Hypoallergenic and only contains natural ingredients so need to use up within a year but good for whole familyGreat product, doesn't foam too much, smells great, gentle on hair. Kids like it. Pricey so good for adults too!
