Really love the fragrance and it foams well for a gentle cleanDue to the virus situation I wasn't able to purchase this from my local natural products store. After purchasing this from Amazon my daughter was extremely itchy and I had to apply calamine lotion all over her body. This happened for a second time after using the gel front this site and she was itching all night. I managed to get an authentic bottle from the natural store and since using this she has not had any further incidents. I smelled this product from Amazon and it smelt off and of strange chemicals. I have only ever used the authentic version of this product for many years since she was a baby so I am very familiar with the smell of it. This definitely smelt very strange indeed. I wanted to warn others, hence the review. Please purchase from a reputable source it's not worth messing with your child's skin as it is so delicate.I started buying the Earth Friendly shower gel/shampoo when my daughter was newborn and loved the smell and consistency (great when you've got your hands full and bubbles nicely in the hair).When my daughter turned three I tried using other shampoos, for babies and older children but she started to get a dry scalp. So I reverted back to this shampoo.Now my 2yr old boy and 5yr old girl use this shampoo (followed by adult conditioner on the ends for my daughters long hair). I love the smell and get it on subscribe and save, which is cheaper than buying it in other shops and it lasts a while due to the thick consistency, so we don't use much each time.I highly recommend this product, and hope they keep making it for a long time!I will add a disclaimer here that I'm not certain whether it was a change in nappies or this product but something gave my LO absolutely dreadful nappy rash. I was having to stay away from home and had run out of our usual nappies and baby wash, so I ordered this on prime thinking it would be gentle and soothing. It might have been staying in a different water area, I always rinse her after her bath, but maybe I wasn't doing it enough. The nappies I was having to use for a few days were also not nearly as absorbent as the ones we usually use. It might have been something of a perfect storm but she'd never had it so bad before, with the skin going very red and starting to peel even! It was a pleasant enough smell but I wouldn't buy it again just in case. Be careful.We love this bodywash. It's natural so safe for baby's skin, rated well on " think dirty"!Used on my little boy since birth as having a lockdown baby was stressful enough and this is available on subscription!Real lavender scent, super calming , also use in my toddler as well as she has mild skin probs it help and cleared my babys cradle cap.100% Highly Reccomend!This shampoo and body-wash product is quite loved in my family. It is mild and having no fragrance/perfume is definitely a bonus and is healthy for the skin, especially for children. However, the bottle it comes in is not very practical, especially when a kid uses it, as a lot of this product goes into waste when trying to squeeze the bottle.Without this issue, the content & effects of this product would have definitely deserved five starts.
