I used my EDELRID Canary for a year and a half before I had to retire it. This might seen like a short amount of time. However, in that time I put no less than 1,000 pitches on this rope. I chose to climb exclusively on this one rope for the entirety of its life until it was done. Those pitches were anything from hard sport routes to alpine big walls. It can and will handle almost any situation. Not once was I ever concerned about my saftey. And its light!
